Nice seeing you here! Let me tell you a bit about my dream.

I’m Iris; the hands, heart, and ink behind The INK Nook. Being creative is something I've always done. Since I was a little girl, I could be found sketching, painting, carving, or experimenting with clay, all thanks to my grandpa, who introduced me to the joy of creating with your hands. That love of art led me to study as a Decoration & Restoration Painter in the Netherlands, and later, to become an Art Educator.

But another dream was calling: traveling to New Zealand. What began as a trip turned into a home. Now I live on a quiet farm with my partner surrounded by animals, a veggie garden, and wild landscapes that keep me endlessly inspired.

My art is rooted in nature, stories, interests, and imagination, from handprinted lino prints to original paintings and little treasures for everyday magic. Creating and sharing my work is not just about art; it’s about building a cozy nook for those who find beauty in the handmade and meaningful.
